Technical Problems Have Been Resolved

Yesterday, the two most popular sites in our network, QueerLust.com and PoppinGossip.com, began experiencing technical problems.

We originally messed around with some settings, broke something, thought we fixed it and only today realized it wasn’t fully fixed.

The issues have been fully resolved and we apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you.

What happened:

We modified the .htaccess files, which are security files that tells browsers and bots what they can and cannot do, and it broke permalinks, which are the long page names you see in your URL box. Both sites continued to load at all times. However, if a visitor clicked anything and tried to go deeper into the site, they received a 404 page not found error. Another modification to .htaccess, which was done a little earlier today, corrected this error.

Tops and Bottoms

Houston, TX has the largest percentage of bottoms. NYC has the largest percentage of tops.

Michael Stabile, editor of The Sword, took to reading Craigslist ads in 10 cities to figure this out.

He found:

  • 3/4 of Houston’s posters were bottoms
  • Miami has 69% bottoms
  • San Francisco has 63% bottoms
  • Los Angeles has 61% bottoms
  • NYC won out on tops at 54%
  • Washington DC and Atlanta tied on tops at 52%
  • Seattle, Boston and Chicago also had more ads for bottoms than tops.

Charity Idea: Feed a Porn Star!

I am on ICQ talking with one of my favorite people in the porn industry.

I was commenting how surfers tend to be tired of the “cracked out twink” niche.

That spurred an idea; perhaps my calling in life. Should I start a non-profit organization called “Feed a Porn Star, Inc.?”

The organization would be a mobile meals program with a twist. Volunteers would make some fatty foods and then go to porn sets and try to get the twinks to eat.

It will not be an easy task. Perhaps we would have to to disguise a hot dog as a cock? Or maybe draw a starfish on a cheese burger and tell them that its a hot ass to eat?

All I know is that there are a lot of starving twinks out there. As a community, shouldn’t we ban together to help our own people out?
